The Company AE Wiring (Pty) Ltd was established in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, in 2000 and is an ISO 9001: 2008 listed company. We specialize in the design, manufacture and supply of automotive harnesses and connectors. The company has managed to show phenomenal growth every year since inception, by a very simple philosophy of satisfying our customer’s demands through innovation and service. Our original business plan was to service the small loom market as all the competitors were pursuing the large loom, large volume markets. This philosophy led us to develop specialist products especially for the automotive glass markets.. In following the plan of being a specialist manufacturer the business acquired Z-Flex Cables & Connectors in 2003. Z-Flex Cables is a manufacturer of large cables and connectors for the resistance welding market. Once again in bringing our AE Wiring philosophy to Z-Flex we have developed and improved products to the customer base we supply. Both businesses gained the critical mass they were requiring and opened further possibilities of exporting products. |
